Leeds Chamber is widely recognised as the voice of Leeds business in the region. Leeds Chamber exists purely to promote the interests and well-being of its members and indeed, the local economy by focusing upon those policy issues and economic development projects which will make a difference to Leeds and in particular to the business community.
One of the key activities of a Chamber of Commerce is to provide information to its members about national, regional or local policy proposals that are likely to impact upon business and to provide feedback on the response from the business community.
| Leeds Chamber has five key policy priorities: Business Crime Continued Economic Development of Leeds Education Red Tape & Regulation Transport This does not exclude other policy areas and activities but these five are the main ones where the Chamber focuses its activities.
