The Continued Economic Development of Leeds
One of the main objectives of the Chamber of Commerce is to contribute to the continued economic success of Leeds. The Chamber plays an ever increasing role in key economic development activities across the City, thereby ensuring that the views and needs of the local business community are not overlooked.
Amongst its many roles, the Chamber significantly contributes to the international activities of the City. It is seen as the key ‘body’ to take the lead on further developing the business aspects of overseas relationships. More…
This is further highlighted in our involvement with the Cultural Partnership initiative where both public and private sectors work together assessing the opportunities for Leeds to develop and to sustain the infrastructure needed by an international city.
Leeds Chamber is also a major player in many national initiatives based on enhancing the City’s status, such as "Core Cities," "The Northern Way," and "The Leeds City Region."
